Steak Sandwich
One of those days where we played tourist and went to St Kilda. I turned to my food bible Urbanspoon and discovered Las Chicas. Decided to be adventurous and ordered a steak sandwich for lunch. Bad idea though. Almost choked on the wasabi mayo (I personally don’t eat wasabi) and beetroot tasted all funny in my mouth. Other than that, steak was cooked quite well done and the sandwich was served with bread, grilled onions and rocket. Nothing too fancy. Las Chicas turned out not quite up to par with my expectations. Perhaps I should have ordered their breakfast menu instead.
